Terms and Conditions of Sale

Last updated: 11 October 2026

Article 1 – Purpose

These general terms and conditions of sale govern sales made on coeliaparfums.com between PARFUMS COELIA, an SAS registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 952 052 215, with its registered office at 59 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France ("COELIA PARFUMS"), and any natural person acting as a consumer ("the Customer"). Placing an order implies acceptance of the terms in force on the date of the order.

Article 2 – Products

The products offered are extraits de parfum described on their product page (composition, size, price). Photographs are as accurate as possible but are not contractually binding. Products are offered while stocks last.

Article 3 – Prices

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. The applicable price is the one displayed on the website when the order is confirmed. Delivery costs are shown before final confirmation of the order: delivery is free in mainland France on orders from €15; below that amount and for other destinations, costs are calculated and displayed at checkout.

Article 4 – Orders

The Customer selects the products, checks the cart, enters their details, chooses a delivery method and pays. The order is final once payment is confirmed. A summary email is sent to the address provided.

Article 5 – Payment

Payment is due when the order is placed. It is made using the methods offered at checkout, in particular bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Cartes Bancaires), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Other payment methods may be offered depending on the delivery country. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers; COELIA PARFUMS has no access to the Customer's bank details.

Article 6 – Delivery

Orders are shipped within 48 business hours and delivered by Colissimo, usually within 4 to 7 days in mainland France. These lead times are indicative. The Customer receives a shipping email with a tracking link. If delivery is more than 30 days late, the Customer may request cancellation of the sale under articles L. 216-2 et seq. of the French Consumer Code. The risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer when they take physical possession of the products.

Article 7 – Right of withdrawal

In accordance with articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from receipt of their order to withdraw, without giving any reason or paying any penalty.

To withdraw, the Customer notifies their decision by email to contact@coeliaparfums.com, via the contact form or using the model form in the appendix. The product must then be returned no later than 14 days after this notification, to the address provided by COELIA PARFUMS. Return costs are borne by the Customer.

COELIA PARFUMS refunds all sums paid, including the initial delivery costs (based on standard delivery), no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal decision. The refund may be deferred until the product has been received or the Customer has provided proof of shipment. It is made using the payment method used for the order.

The Customer may be held liable for any depreciation of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and characteristics.

Exception – unsealed bottles: in accordance with article L. 221-28 5° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for a bottle unsealed by the Customer after delivery, for reasons of hygiene and health protection. An unsealed bottle can be neither refunded nor exchanged, except in the event of a lack of conformity (article 8).

Article 8 – Legal guarantees

Products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L. 217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). For any claim, contact us at contact@coeliaparfums.com. Return costs for a non-conforming or defective product are borne by COELIA PARFUMS.

Legal guarantee of conformity and guarantee against hidden defects

The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the application of the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer only needs to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared.

The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to the repair or replacement of the goods within thirty days of their request, free of charge and without major inconvenience.

If the goods are repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee. If the consumer requests repair but the seller imposes replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for two years from the date of replacement.

The consumer may obtain a price reduction while keeping the goods, or end the contract and obtain a full refund against return of the goods, if: 1° the professional refuses to repair or replace the goods; 2° repair or replacement takes place after thirty days; 3° repair or replacement causes major inconvenience to the consumer; 4° the lack of conformity persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to remedy it.

The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to terminate the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination, without first requesting repair or replacement. The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.

Any period during which the goods are immobilised for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the goods are returned in working order.

These rights result from articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code. A seller who obstructs the application of the legal guarantee of conformity in bad faith is liable to a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 241-5 of the French Consumer Code).

The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund against return of the goods.

Article 9 – Customer service

For any question or complaint: contact@coeliaparfums.com or our contact form.

Article 10 – Mediation

In the event of a dispute not resolved with our customer service, the Customer may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator (articles L. 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). The mediator's contact details will be provided on this page.

Article 11 – Personal data

The data collected when an order is placed is necessary to process it. Its use is detailed in our privacy policy.

Article 12 – Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the protective rules applicable to consumers.
